Role Summary:
Responsible for leading the implementation of a global buy to pay solution and related processes
for Power, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Energy Connections, Lighting, and Healthcare businesses.
Essential Responsibilities:
Project Manager responsible for implementing a global Accounts Payable solution and tool kit leveraging a standard implementation process
Partner with teams and IT Project Manager to develop and execute project plans, including tracking project milestones, identification of key stakeholders, integrating the dependencies and monitoring the timelines
Monitor and support adherence to the global Enterprise Standard throughout the implementation
Lead/support the fit/gap business assessment analysis and requirements effort as required. Drive closure of gaps as necessary through a collaborative partnership with each region
Lead and drive complex Buy to Pay business requirements, business assessments, and identify exceptions to the process based on local compliance requirements
Identify and proactively mitigate risks across the project and dependent Shared Services teams
Create and maintain documentation of new processes, including regional variations
Deliver breakthrough levels of improvements in process capability through simplification, new solution designs, and business processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality through project implementation
Drive a high standard of first time right as part of go live for implementations
Actively engaged in the post go live hyper care support plan; ensure timely delivery of post go live metrics
Seek, share, and implement best practices on a consistent basis
Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams as we drive to implement Buy to Pay Enterprise Standards
Effectively communicate/present progress to champions, business leaders, Master Black Belts, and senior leadership
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Significant experience in finance, accounting or other specific buy to pay functions
Significant project management experience, knowledge and project management tools
MUST be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
Desired Characteristics:
Strong verbal and written skills; ability to facility large audience meetings
Ability to manage multiple global projects in parallel
Green Belt Certified (internal GE candidate)
Knowledge of accounts payable, prior experience in B2P Shared Services
Software Development Lifecycle
Demonstrated execution and effectiveness in a non-structured or changing environment
Global experience working across time zones and geographies
Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others and achieve results
Demonstrated commitment for process improvement and simplification
Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
