Working within the Sales and Marketing departments you will experience a fast pace of work which will give you invaluable experience for your Industrial Placement Year. Job Purpose: To provide dedicated and effective administrative and organisational support to the Nordics Sales Team. Main Areas of Responsibility: Evaluate competitors and the retail landscape and distribution of key weekly reports Manage the ordering and delivery of sales samples – working with both internal and external stakeholders Upkeep of key channel support tool and responsibility for internal and external image and copy requests Manage the organisation and delivery of our B2B retail events Involved in logistic POS and Master Data process Gather data and map retailers promotional calendars on the different channels Monitor and share key highlights of Toy News in the European market Responsible for supplier management, invoice processing and payment monitoring Ad hoc Sales specific project work Key Relationships: Internal Working Relationships: Main focus will be with Nordics Sales Team Interaction with Marketing department within the UK Contact with Customer Service and Planning departments Liasing with Finance and Accounting administration External Working Relationships: Support relationship management and key needs of Nordic direct customers and wholesalers Experience, Education & Skills Competencies: Technical: Microsoft Office: Advanced Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to interpreting data Exceptional organisational and communication skills Excellent telephone manner and typing skills Behavioural: Highly motivated, proactive, determined, dedicated, enthusiastic Creative problem solver and solution-driven Listens and asks questions to ensure understanding An interest in product design, innovation, fashion and an awareness of consumer and retail market trends Excellent organisational, time management & project management skills with ability to multi task and meet deadlines Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally Must be a team player Self-sufficient and able to work under pressure Good interpersonal skills with high level of professionalism. This should include strong communication skills, articulate, flexibility, patience, with an honest and ethical approach Ability to build strong relationships and key contacts Wants to learn and demonstrates flexibility in response to change Requirements: Currently studying a relevant degree (For example, Sales, Business or Marketing) at University with a strong GPA Fluent in English alongside basic native Scandinavian language Resides within commutable distance to the Mattel Denmark office In possession of EU Citizenship Ideally have experience of working in a Sales or Marketing environment About Us ABOUT US Mattel, Inc.
