To support our team we are currently looking for a Sales Manager Key Accounts (m/f) for our GMS & Loyalty Group.

This position is responsible for creating acceptance for American Express consumer and corporate card customers at key account merchants in Germany.
Responsibilities:
Transform the merchant acceptance for American Express in Germany
Acquire new business turnover
Prepare and lead negotiations with financial representatives of key accounts in Germany
Manage strategic international acquisition projects
Cooperate closely with all local and international support functions, e.g. marketing, payment consulting, pricing, finance, risk
Build and sustain a network in the acquiring and retail industry
This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.

Qualifications
Requirements:
University degree in Business Administration or equivalent education
Minimum 5 years experience in a sales environment of a multinational company
Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and verbal)
Track record in negotiating complex deals which delivered the planned results
Strong thought leadership and analytical skills
Results oriented / Commercial mindset
In depth knowledge of the credit card business and its competitive environment with a strong understanding of American Express and the financial services industry
Ability to manage conflict and drive results through others
