Joining this team, you will become an integral part of a global team of subject matter experts who act as the extended arm of the operational sales organization and consequently help them achieve their goals. Taking ownership of selected released service offerings, you are the subject matter expert and one-point of contact for the operational sales organization when it comes to product/solution support and product training. When required, you will also support directly during negotiations with existing and potential customers. The 3 main service offerings you will be responsible for are: Modularized Service Portfolio: 1 year ago Siemens Wind Service modularized its service offerings making it possible for customers to tailor-make their services supplied from Siemens. Customer Training: Large portfolio of EHS and Siemens specific turbine trainings for customers who are self-performers. Subscription Services (turbine documentation): Electronic documentation for Siemens wind turbines for the O&M period aimed towards self-performing customers. In this role, you should expect approximately 30 travelling days per year visiting customers around the world. Furthermore, you will be travelling to visit internal stakeholders spending time with the teams in the Global Sales organization, who is located in UK, US, Denmark and Germany. The ideal candidate has a combination of technical and operational knowledge preferably from a service business within the wind industry, and further possesses the following key characteristics: A strong communicator who enjoys having a broad interface in a large international organization and is comfortable dealing with complex issues internally as well as directly with customers. A strong team player in cross functional teams who at the same time is able to solve tasks individually. What are my responsibilities? 1st level sales support towards the operational sales organization (global and regional sales) on released products/solutions within the area of responsibility supporting both new sales and the aftersales market. Drive test and development of new solutions to fit our customers’ needs Drive pricing strategies for new solutions, conduct market segmentation and perform product solution performance monitoring. As key expert ensure that the operational sales organization is trained on new products/solutions. Key stakeholder in new product developments. 50-60% of your time will be spend on customer facing activities What do I need to qualify for this job? Engineering degree or business Master’s degree combined with technical sales experience +5years of experience within e.g. service operations, as a sales engineer or selling technical complex products/solutions. We expect you to have been working in a large international company preferably in a matrix structure. A good understanding of technical complex solutions and able to communicate those in a simple manner internally and externally. Strong communication skills verbally and in writing and proven ability to build long lasting relations internally as well as externally. Experience with customer facing activities and project negotiations. Wind industry specific experience is not a requirement but considered a strong advantage.
