The flagship Luxembourg-domiciled BlackRock Global Funds (BGF) is distributed across 36 countries and includes a broad range of equity, fixed income, balanced and cash funds. Separately, there are domestic fund ranges in the UK, Japan and Australia. Job Purpose/Background: The new Sales Support person will be located in Brussels and will report to the Belgium Head of Retail Sales. He/she will be responsible to assist the Retail Sales force in achieving a high level of client servicing. This position requires client focus, strong commercial attitude, excellent managerial skills, and analytical, organizational and planning skills. Thanks to the diversity of the job and the experienced learned over time across various financial products and markets, he/she would also be more and more exposed to specific client relationships (across Belgium & Luxembourg). Key Responsibilities: Support local Retail Sales team coordinate & organize meetings/conference calls with clients, prospects & investment teams within BlackRock Coordinate with the Central teams in London to ensure information is communicated to sales re new product launches, client calls, new materials, competitor analysis, registered funds, Be responsible for collating and sending materials prior to single meetings / calls and for doing all follow up post meeting (presentations, factsheets, ratings reports, questions) Own the Service Level Agreement with clients in terms of regular delivery of prices, factsheets, monthly commentaries, holdings, asset allocations, customized & bespoke recurrent client reporting Develop "teaser" emails in local language on behalf of sales to prospect & follow up with clients Respond to all bespoke client questions on performance, market news, outlook to provide an information service to clients Liaise with Retail Client Management regarding the set-up of client accounts including Terms of Business / Retro agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreements if required. Help prepare custom sales presentations (translate) & materials in local languages taking English materials from London and crafting into re-active responses to clients and pro-active messages Maintain the CRM system (notably pipeline management) to ensure that all relevant client information and sales activities are kept up to date Over time Sales Support would schedule client meetings for the sales team, attend events with sales people and follow up on events and client meetings Develop, coordinate & monitor Belgian compliant marketing material (factsheets, websites, ) in local language (Dutch & French) & act as liaison between EMEA compliance & the local regulator Development Value: The candidate will be exposed to Belgium and Luxembourg clients, they will work alongside the retail commercial team. The candidate will deal with queries pertaining to our funds strategies, analytics, and performance. He or she will be part of the sales support team within the EMEA Retail team, and receive regular training on our products and strategies along with our technology capabilities. They will partner with all relevant stake holders across the firm the investment teams, legal, finance and business operations. Knowledge/Experience: Excellent PC skills, MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Good knowledge of finance services, products and the operational framework & ecosystem Skills/Qualifications: Degree Level & or Master (Business Studies, Finance a plus) Fluency in English Dutch and French a pre-requisite Competencies: Excellent communication skills written and verbal Analytical and rigorous in their work, curious with appetite to learn Client-focused, dynamic, reliable, self-starter, autonomous, confident, team-player
