You will assume responsibility for legal questions and for ensuring compliance with laws
You will ensure effective legal risk management with an operational focus by communicating the legal risks and opportunities from both a legal and a business perspective
You will provide support for a broad legal spectrum in both private-sector and – as a priority – public-sector business, focusing in particular on public procurement law, sales and service business, matters relating to the marketing of medical products, general contractor agreements, the development of new business models in systems and solutions business and associated matters concerning data protection
You will be responsible for drafting and analyzing contracts, preparing general terms and conditions of business, advising on risk profiles and contract negotiations and providing training for employees
You will provide support in particular to the bid and execution teams as well as the Sales Regions in Germany and business managers acting at the international level
Your tasks will also include managing external attorneys and providing support during litigious proceedings
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
You have passed your state legal examinations with at least a fully satisfactory mark
You have several years' experience in procurement and commercial law, as well as knowledge of and experience in sales and competition law, the law governing the advertising of medical and pharmaceutical products and construction law
You have applied this knowledge and experience successfully during your long-standing career as an attorney in an international law firm or in the legal department of an international company, ideally in the healthcare environment and / or in the area of project business
Your time spent studying or working abroad has allowed you to develop a high level of intercultural sensitivity
You take a flexible approach to establishing trust-based collaborative relationships with internal business partners and colleagues at headquarters and with the units in the different countries
You are business-fluent in English and German; knowledge of other languages is advantageous
At a personal level, you are a highly analytical self-starter with a creative, business-oriented approach. A strong team player with a firm focus on results, you have an excellent strategic mindset and enjoy making decisions
