Your daily challenges
* As an experienced Windows Server Specialist, you define analysis and editing methods, review solutions and technical documentation from third parties
* Close collaboration with developers and product teams to identify bugs and other bugs
* Developing business recommendations for large customers to optimize Windows platforms
* Planning and provision of proactive support services (technical trainings, supportability reviews, customer workshops, expert rounds) for customers and partners
* Performance analysis, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
Required Skills:
* Degree or equivalent professional experience
* Good understanding of ITIL / service management
* Basic network skills - IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, routing, etc.
* Windows Server / Windows architecture: - Very good knowledge of installation and update processes
* Automation and scripting
* Windows security, patches and WSUS: - Good knowledge of Windows patch management and services such as WSUS or SCCM
* Knowledge of Windows Firewall, Security Settings / Policies and the Security Compliance Manager
* Good experience in solving performance and memory problems on Windows
* Strong knowledge and experience in troubleshooting
* Experience in dealing with business customers
* Customer loyalty capabilities in a personal conversation
* Presentability and communication skills in German and English
* Knowledge and skills in troubleshooting, MCTS / MCITP certification desirable
Required technical skills:
Platforms Core Support Consultants should have experience in implementation, operation, tuning, and troubleshooting with respect to enterprise-class Windows server operating system solutions.
Although we are generally involved with third-tier and fourth-tier third-party infrastructure support teams, Platforms Core Support Consultants will also work with technology teams. For this reason the appropriate readiness and a sure occurrence at this level are necessary.
The following would also be an advantage:
* Experience in the analysis of crashes / memory separations
* Knowledge of Microsoft Clustering, Virtualization, Active Directory, Group Policy
* Sufficient practical knowledge in scripting (PowerShell) or application development
* Knowledge of Remote Desktop Services
