Job Description
The Senior Licensing Specialist works very closely with the different sales teams and is responsible for the provision of complex tailor-made solutions for the sales team and the end customer. You will be part of the sales team and will advise customers comprehensively up to the conclusion of new or renewal of existing license agreements.
Your daily challenges:
• Show your customers the optimal, simplest way to buy or renew licenses for Microsoft technologies.
• On the basis of sound customer analyzes, you independently develop licensing and financing strategies with the aim of achieving the best possible benefit for the customer and maximizing the contract value.
• You negotiate your license proposals with the purchasers on the customer side.
• You can also convince yourself internally as a competent licensing consultant: by showing account managers, software asset managers and solicitors, with which arguments they score in customer negotiations.
• You lead the customer and the account team through the phase of contract preparation and booking.
• Their success is measured by newly concluded or renewed license agreements, customer satisfaction and the strategic positioning of new products and licensing concepts
Your profile:
• Completed business or IT studies and some years of experience in sales.
• Good insight into Microsoft platform technologies and our enterprise solutions
• Strong sales skills
• Positive appearance, persuasive power and presentation security
• Accurate, efficient work in the extended account and license team
• Open, learning and changeable personality
