We are looking for: Senior Product Manager This is a leadership role and you will work closely with the CEO, CTO & CMO of JUMIA. As such, this is a huge opportunity to make your mark. You’re a talented product leader who is excited by the potential of JUMIA and ecommerce in Africa and you have the chops - we don’t care if you’ve delivered 100 projects. We care that you delivered at least one incredible product that blows our mind. You must have experience building and leading a super talented product team, one we're building carefully and one who is constantly innovating. Additionally, our expectations for you in this role will be to: Help define the vision and steward the strategy of JUMIA’s growth. Lead the cross functional team to create great features to differentiate and enhance the product. Drive the development, manage the roadmap, and remove barriers that prevent engineers from launching great products quickly. Help us convert visitors to shoppers and keep them coming back. Work closely with Marketing to help with acquisition and retention of product. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of Product management experience with consumer-facing service with experience on desktop, Mobile Web, iOS or Android in an Agile environment. Experience building and growing an online/mobile consumer product. Experience with ecommerce, travel, rewards or loyalty related products is highly desirable. Experience writing product requirements and functional requirements for cross-device products. Substantial experience with A/B testing and experiments. Someone who lives and breathes onboarding flows, funnel and conversion metrics. Familiarity with developing wireframes using tools such as UXPin, Balsamiq or similar. Understanding of lean and MVP methodologies required. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and produce high-quality results.
