APCO WorldwideSummary APCO Insight®, the research and strategy consultancy within the global communications firm APCO Worldwide, is seeking for a Senior Research Analyst (mid-level professional) to join our team in our Brussels or Berlin offices. While APCO Worldwide is approximately 700 people globally, this position would be to join APCO Insight, a team of about 20 research professionals who work in collaboration with our communications colleagues worldwide. This role would suit an individual with a background in stakeholder, market or social research, or opinion polling, and an interest in both corporate and political affairs. We work with many of the world’s leading companies, associations, nonprofits and public-sector organizations on a diverse range of challenges. Our core research capabilities include: reputation management and corporate communications strategy, issues management and message testing, and thought leadership (public release) research. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support of opinion research projects – primarily quantitative survey research but also involving focus groups, in-depth interviews, and digital/social research Monitor data collection for survey research projects Clean, code, tabulate and analyze survey datasets Conduct data processing and analysis on survey data including frequencies, cross-tabulation, and significance testing Manage qualitative research recruitment and focus group coordination Work across European offices (London, Brussels, Berlin, etc.) to coordinate activities in addition to supporting and participating in U.S.-based projects. Use digital research tools to conduct conversational analysis to understand the issue landscape and identify target audiences and influencers Develop charts and reports in PowerPoint Ensure data and reporting quality Qualifications: At least three years’ relevant quantitative and/or qualitative research experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills Proficient with SAS, SPSS or other comparable program Familiarity with digital and social media research tools such as Quid, Brandwatch or similar programs Working knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics, strong analytical skills Able to multi-task, strong time management and organizational skills Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Excellent written and oral skills Professional mastery of EnglishProficiency in German or French preferred About APCO: Founded in 1984, APCO Worldwide is an award-winning, independently owned global communication and business strategy firm with offices in major cities throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
