Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
As part of a cross-departmental team in the Advanced Therapies (AT) Business Area, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing scientific studies on image quality and dose in the areas of interventional radiology, neuroradiology, cardiology and surgery
Your responsibilities will also include the strategic planning of cooperation on image quality and dose with the Management Business Line and the Regions.
You will act as expert and central contact for internal and external partners and customers ("Key Opinion Leader") with regard to image quality and dose
You will analyze and develop clinical workflows for image quality and dose improvements in conjunction with customers, and you will carry out competitor analyses and prepare publications
You will give talks and presentations in the AT Management group and to key customers
As a link between Marketing and Development, you will be responsible for the image quality marketing strategy for new system versions
You will draw up concepts for innovative image improvement processes and confirm these through simulations and prototypes in conjunction with Development and innovation departments
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
You have successfully completed university studies specializing in medicine, physics or engineering, or have achieved a comparable qualification; a doctorate is desirable
You have many years of professional experience in the field of interventional radiology or cardiology and have extensive experience of the corresponding clinical workflows
You can offer at least three years of experience in functional management of cross-departmental teams, e.g. technical project management
You have a very good knowledge of X-ray physics, image quality, dosimetry, image processing and system architecture for angiography systems
You have a sound knowledge in the field of scientific work, carrying out clinical studies and scientific publications
Your personal qualities include a strong customer focus, the ability to work on your own initiative, assertiveness, analytical skills, strategic thinking and communication skills
