Location: Copenhagen Application deadline: 20/04/2017 The position In order to further strengthen our development department, we are looking for a talented senior software developer. Your responsibilities together with the team are ensuring the continued efficiency and quality of the development environments and our software configuration management, as well as the quality of the development tools used for one of the most advanced investment management solutions in the world - SimCorp Dimension. SimCorp is in the midst of an exciting journey going Agile. This means that our entire Product Development division of 500+ employees is organizing into to agile processes, workflows and roles. Silos are broken down, and we work in around 50 close-knit collaborative within eight Agile Release Trains. The Development Tools Team is organised as an Agile Release Train with three teams. Environments, quality control, deployment and software configuration management The Development Tools Team serves as an internal technical advisor and knowledge base for application developers, and has the required in-depth technical knowledge and insight. In our daily work, we use a multitude of technologies such as Visual Studio, GitHub, C#, F#, Dyalog APL, Team System (TFS), Oracle, PL/SQL, within the areas of development environments, development tools, build, unit test, product deployment and software configuration management. Your most important tasks will be: Ensuring our development environments in C# and APL are automated and scale to fit 300+ developers using a modern continuous tool stack Expanding, improving, integrating and operating the tools used for continuous integration and deployment, and configuration management Strengthening and maintaining the technical and professional knowledge in the group and contributing to the development of the quality of the product Your qualifications We expect that you hold minimum a master's degree in computer science or software engineering. You are an experienced developer with extensive knowledge of development tools, unit test and software configuration management – a true software engineer. In addition, the ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer Have experience with functional and object oriented languages and their tool stack Sharing of knowledge within your expertise is familiar to you You show initiative and suggest approaches to optimize solutions Be fluent both in written and spoken English As a person, you possess the drive and interest in converting complex problems into code and working solutions.
