For IT on land:
Data-based administration of the DNV GL software ShipManager (GLSM):
Creation and maintenance of users and user profiles, as well as office / fleet equipment
Planned Maintenance (change and create maintenance)
Ships-Particulars u.Ä. enter
See the role of the key user for other GLSM users
Creation of new templates for Forms
Administration of the GLSM on the software side:
Distribution of the GLSM updates (program or parts thereof, eg ENOAD) to the ships as well as creation of update CDs (if necessary)
Test the updates before distributing them on a test system
Accompanying the tests of new developments (such as port clearance, program module for SPARK, interface to GLSM etc.)
Internal contact for the main department Information Technology & Services for questions about the software environment (remote desktop connection, interfaces, printer client)
Contact person for company-specific software for new development and integration into the existing environment (eg Crewmanager, GLEM, LOGA)
We would like to inform you about the changes to our fleet / fleet: Fleet Broadband, VSAT, Inmarsat-C, LRIT / SSAS / EPIRB
Creation / maintenance of Excel macros for internal applications
Conducting training in São Paulo (at Aliança Navegação e Logística)
For IT on board:
"Service desk" for the ships and company software
Troubleshooting by e-mail / telephone on the computers or the satellite system on board, ship visits for computer maintenance, computer exchange or commissioning worldwide and travel on the ships, partly remote maintenance
Test new software on the test environment before the rollout
Preparation of installation instructions / operating instructions for the software on board
(GLEM, Engine Performance Analyzer, etc.) for the implementation of new projects on ships such as "Internet on board", new satellite systems,
Technical contact person in charge calculator, Refcon computer, computer for control of the main machines and units etc.
Contact person for the new building department for IT questions (eg network structure on board)
Update the software on board through patches or new versions
For the IT in the new building Siteoffice:
"Service Desk" for the employees in the Siteoffice
Set up the site office network structure
Troubleshooting by e-mail / telephone on the computers or the network connection, visits for computer maintenance or commissioning, partly remote maintenance

Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (application development or system integration), IT system electronics engineer or IT salesperson
Good technical understanding as well as high affinity to IT topics
Good computer skills of the current MS Office standard software (especially in Excel)
Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written English
Analytical thinking and ability to work systematically
Commitment, responsibility and team-oriented work
Willingness to travel frequently on the road (worldwide)
