Job Description
We, the Lufthansa Systems GmbH & Co. KG, are looking for a Specialist Support & Operations for our Technical Lido / Flight Helpdesk. In this role, you will be able to provide competent, expert support to all customers and users in current questions about Lido products and services at Lufthansa Systems.
Your tasks mainly include:
Technical supervision and control of the worldwide 24h / 7d Lido / Flight routine operation
Accept, analyze, record, remedy and track incidental incidents, both for internal and external users; For critical disturbances, including compliance with agreed escalation procedures
Continuous control of the Lido / Flight system components or processes for the early detection of faults
Performance monitoring of the system and databases
Training / instruction of administration staff at the customer
Software installations at customers or via network connections
Support for Lido / Flight Aeronautical Support and for acceptance tests
Support in the areas of training, consulting and sales
Support for the functional development of the company's product range
Take over of special tasks
your profile
Completed subject-related studies, eg business informatics, or equivalent (international) degree; Alternatively: completed training and equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and training
Extensive hands-on experience in the use of Unix operating systems (AIX & Linux), container systems (Docker), configuration and orchestration tools (Ansible); Monitoring and logging tools (Alerta, Prometheus, Greylog), document-oriented databases (MongoDB), relational databases (Ingres, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge and experience in implementation of DevOps and Continuous Delivery concepts
Good knowledge of the Lido / Flight system architecture
Basic programming knowledge in Java
Experience in a customer-oriented field of activity
Social competence and integration ability, ability to work in teams
Very high operational readiness and self initiative, high resilience and flexibility
Ability to conceptual, systematic and goal-oriented work, pronounced quality consciousness
