Job Description
As a surface category lead, it will be your task to considerably increase the surface market share in the premium segment by quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing the various sales channels, by controlling extensive planning and procurement processes as well as by developing and formulating suitable marketing messages.
Your daily challenges:
- You are responsible for the strategic management of sales channels and ensure the steep growth of the Surface product group.
- Based on sound market, customer and competition analyzes, you define the product and channel mix and develop segment-specific product and marketing messages.
- You use your impressive understanding of the PC market, the surface product strategy and current developments to transform your marketing plans into concrete programs and surpass our ambitious sales targets.
- Over the complete product lifecycle, they take care of the Surface product range and control a product-specific product design.
- Determine, assess and plan the quotas for the valuation of sales potentials as well as identify and develop new and profitable growth areas.
- Thanks to the close co-operation between you and the relevant interfaces such as sales, channel marketing and supply chain, you ensure a sales promotion of the products, product availability and attractiveness of the product offerings.
- You take over the creation and localization of content, eg for presentations and demos, in order to communicate the respective marketing messages to both opinion leaders, customers and partners impressively and inspiringly.
Your profile:
- Profound experience in the development and control of a product group in the retail and consumer market - typically in the field of technology.
- Proven success in the management of various sales channels with a turnover responsibility of several million euros.
- Very good skills in the quantitative and qualitative analysis including the consideration of different data sources and the resulting recommendations for action.
- decision-making certainty when analyzing sales and market trends as well as product life cycles based on data sources (eg GFK, Nielsen, etc.) and operational events to strengthen precise demand planning.
- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing precisely and effectively, to convince different target groups and to inspire common goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, project management skills and organizational skills.
- First experiences (at least 1-2 years) in the personnel management are an advantage.
