Job Description
AMEC Foster Wheeler has an opportunity for a Junior Technology Engineer across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity to become a valuable, well-rounded member of an experienced team, with successful candidates taking responsibility for Material Selection & Corrosion/Welding/Painting issues and deliverables on projects at all stages of the design process.
Responsibility:
Execute assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including AMEC Foster Wheeler and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the Man-hour and cost budgets and the project schedule target
Prepare material selection diagrams for Process/Utilities units of Chemical, Petro-chemical and Oil & Gas industrial plants
Prepare general specifications for welding of piping and equipment
Review of Welding Books issued by vendor/mechanical contractor
Review of PWHT and fabrication procedures
Prepare Painting general specifications for piping and equipment
Interface with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary
Skills / Qualifications
Graduated in mechanical engineering
Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of written/spoken English language
Good knowledge of written/spoken Italian language
Availability to assignment period c/o affiliates' offices
Computer literate within Microsoft Office
