Your responsibilities
To guarantee the high quality towards our customers we pay great importance to reviews of our way of working. A proactive attitude and the willingness to learn from feedback are crucial to participate in discussions regarding software development.
Development of the test suite and the automated tests for the connectivity platform
Development of automated tests for applications and components for this platform
Integration, test, verification and release of a software platform used in multiple IoT products and systems
Provide input for effort estimations, maintaining personal schedule and reporting on progress
Effective contribution in reviewing deliverables of software components of (peers)
Adherence with processes (including tools, build process) and contribution in process improvements
Effective collaboration with all roles in the development team
Keeping abreast of technical developments in own field and proactive knowledge sharing with others

In your role you will be part of the Professional Systems R&D center Eindhoven. Within the center you will be part of an embedded software development team with about 15 developers and testers. The project team is located in Eindhoven but offers support to multiple teams located in Eindhoven, Bangalore and Shanghai.

We are looking for
Working and thinking at academic level for complex software and systems
1 to 4+ years of experience as a software developer or test automation
Good communication skills and business result oriented
Affinity with working in large cross functional teams
Experience with a high level object oriented programming language e.g. C#, Java or python
Experience in embedded software development is an advantage.
Experience in structured testing e.g. ISTQB or T-Map is an advantage
Experience with ZigBee, Bluetooth or other communication protocols is an advantage
Preferably experience in working with agile development techniques, flexible and open attitude, entrepreneurial spirit with a continuous improvement mindset
