We also have several departments located in the city centre at the historic King's Manor. In recent years, our £750m campus expansion has seen the opening of seven new buildings, increasing our capacity for student numbers and providing more world-class facilities for the 21st century. He is York's sixth Vice-Chancellor and took up this post in January 2014. The Chancellor Professor Sir Malcolm Grant The Chancellor of the University is Malcolm Grant, currently chairman of NHS England. He is the University's sixth Chancellor and took up his position in 2015.
