Your challenge As an Account Manager it is your challenge to arrange enticing travel offers for our travellers. You liaise with the Category Managers from our different domains to determine which travel experiences in your region fit the needs of our local travellers. Together with your partner you create inspiring travel packages that offer our travellers great experiences. You are constantly aiming for having valuable and long lasting partner relationships in which we add value to each other and our travellers. You ensure the best results by negotiating rates and allotments. Together with our other talented Account Managers from all over the world you build out the success of our Partner Success team. You report directly to the Sales Team Lead. Your tasks Creating unique and inspiring travel offers by negotiating the best rates, commission percentages, allotments and added extras; Maintaining and building up valuable and long lasting partner relationships; Identifying and prospecting new possible partnerships; Being on the road to visit different partners (leisure providers) in your region; Liaising with Category Managers to discuss the demand for your region and possible travel offers that meet our travellers needs; Monitoring TravelBirds competitors to ensure that we are one step ahead in offer structure, price points and locations; Handling the whole sales process from A-Z; and Contributing to the further growth of TravelBird. Who you are Bachelor degree in Business Studies, Economics and/or Tourism; 1 to 3 years sales experience; A business passion for closing deals and traveling; A persuasive individual who influences those he/she meets with; A genius in creating new business opportunities; A natural sales person who constantly follows up on leads; Able to work with deadlines and result driven; A positive attitude and strong mind-set; Eagerness to learn something new every day; Organised and detailed; Excellent communication skills; Native level German speaker; You are in possession of a valid driving license; Creative, enthusiastic, flexible; and Live in (or around) the beautiful and vibrant city Amsterdam.
