Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent. The experience should span across all IT management concepts, ranging from traditional IT systems management deployments to cloud based IT self-service. Existing knowledge or experience with Oracle or competing solutions would be considered a plus. Furthermore this person needs to be a self starter and self sufficient. This person should actively engage with the sales team in other LOBs to get these products positioned and be able to work directly with customers on identifying and closing opportunities.? Key Responsibilities: To create and/or identify new opportunities for Oracle Big Data Solutions To qualify and progress all Big Data opportunities as discovered by the sales organization, X-LOB. To support and educate local Oracle sales teams, customers and partners on the value propositions for Big Data. To present and demonstrate the credibility of Big Data solutions To build and maintain relevant relationships with the customer and all different Oracle sales teams. To build and maintain a good working relationship with Oracle’s key sales and implementation partners in the area of Big Data. Work closely with the local Sales Consulting teams to ensure maximum support for the products. Work closely with the local Oracle marketing organization to ensure appropriate attention for Oracle’s Big Data solutions. Market: Belux Key Attributes and Skills Self motivated sales person with multiple years of relevant software sales experience Experience in the area of Big Data solutions is mandatory Motivated by Hunting and Farming. Actively seeking new opportunities combined with exploiting existing business. Proven ability and experience to work in a cross lob organization Ability to establish and lead virtual teams Encouraged by innovative environment Adaptive to constant change. A can-do mentality and will to win High degree of perseverance and results orientation Fluency in Dutch, French and English is mandatory for this position.
