Job Title: Business Manager, Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Global Service Line
Job purpose:
Take responsibility for the Commercial, Business Development and Sales interface functions within the IMR Global Service Line (GSL). Oversee and directly manage the team to ensure tender responses are met, ensuring focus on tender technical input, preparation, clarification, through to award.
Oversea and directly manage the team to ensure capture plans and in conjunction with the Win-It teams, ensure robust client account management plans are in place. Provide dynamic management of the sales funnel and prospects, with clear strategy plans for securing/influencing prospect awards.
Provide input to and assist the GSL Management, with the strategic direction of the IMR group.
Take responsibility for the IMR GSL P&L
Reporting lines and interactions:
Hierarchically reports to: IMR General Manager – Global Service Line
Direct Interfaces to: Regional General Managers, Project Win-It Functions
Directly supervises: Business Development, Commercial and Business Analyst personnel in IMR group

Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
A substantial level of experience in the Offshore Subsea Industry, with a good level of experience of Tendering and Management
A solid understanding of the Legal process from a topside and subsea perspective
High degree of competence in following areas;
Contract administration (subsea industry norm and bespoke)
Estimating (Cost reporting, Tender spreadsheet and Schedule)
Finance (cash flow, security (Bonds/Guarantees), Milestones etc)
Business Awareness
Subsea knowledge and awareness of subsea operations
Capability to manage change
Professional delivery
Results focussed
Proactive / committed approach
Ability to manage change
Experience and competent at personnel performance management
Main accountabilities:
Responsible for the development of the IMR GSL commercial strategy
Co-operative collaboration with the Regional Services and Projects
Strategic input to the tendered solution to achieve business goals/objectives
Identification of tendering targets
Liaison with Services and Projects Commercial Managers on tendering resources and solutions
Develop and maintain client relationships in line with client contact strategy
Oversee the Tender preparation/delivery in collaboration with relevant parties and functions
Manage department resources and ensure sufficient resources are in place to meet anticipated workload
Monitor and update/improve the tendering processes/procedures and systems used on a regular basis
