SR. INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
Job description
As a Sr. Instrument Engineer you are responsible for the instrumentation and process control functionality of multidisciplinary projects in all stages (Pre?FEED, FEED, Basic, construction assistance etc.). Additionally, in case you are assigned as lead engineer, you are responsible within your discipline for all organizational aspects of a project (manpower, budget and planning), internal coordination (with other disciplines, procurement, planning and project management) and alignment with clients and third parties. You handle proposals, prepare hardware - /engineering budgets and technical scope descriptions.
Your responsibilities
You assist in preparation of P&ID’s and participate in P&DI review meetings, HAZID,-HAZOP-and SIL meetings
You execute calculations for all types of instruments, e.g. control valves, orifices, pressure relief valves etc.
You will write specification for all types of instruments such as control- and pressure relief valves, analyzers, DCS etc.
You prepare data sheet, requisitions, technical bid tabulations and vendor document checking
You will produce documents for DCS and SGS systems; narratives, cause and effect diagram, logics etc.
You will assist in FAT and SAT
You have experience in using Conval® and Instrucalc etc.
Your profile
Bsc-/Msc degree with at least 7 year’s experience
You have good knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ATEX, NEN, IEC, ISA, NORSOK etc.)
You have experience in a multi-disciplinary project environment, preferable in the Oil & Gas industry
You have proven leadership and the ability to supervise a team
Your mother tongue is Dutch, secondly required English both at least C1 level
You are an EU citizen
