Job Description
Tasks:
The Competence Manager - Digitalization will work in close cooperation with ABB Group Learning and Development team to develop and manage digitalization competence training programs and support and instruct Business Units (BUs), functions and countries on digital sales skills, value proposition, design thinking, CX, business models, MVP, Scrum and Rapid prototyping.
Main accountabilities:
- Define training needs and requirements of our digital capabilities across various BUs and country sales organisations
- Based on relevant market intelligence, plan the necessary learning and development programs to fill in the gaps in the BUs Digital portfolio, in order to exploit potential business opportunities and unlock customer value
- Manage the Digitalization competence program for both internal and external providers
- Monitor, and manage BUs competence development and provide regular KPI tracking
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience work experience in the software industry or in the industrial sector with digitalization/Digitalization exposure
- Proven experience in Learning & Development and competence management in a business context
- Experience in Agile Methodology, Software development, Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Systematic approach, business-oriented and result-driven mind-set
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization, and ability to successfully interface with all levels across the organization, and lead by influence
- Solid relationship management skills, demonstrated communication skills in a multi-cultural and multinational environment
- Excellent command of English (oral and written) paired with excellent presentation skills. Hands-on training experience is a plus
- Availability to travel internationally as required
