To support this overall vision your role as Account Manager will be to deliver business results according to the account strategy as set by the Sales Manager. You will also be responsible for the sale and promotion of Sony products to existing and new locally buying clients in allocated regions and for encouraging resale to consumers. Moreover, the Account Manager is responsible for optimizing relationship management within the agreed frameworks of the sales strategy and the distribution policy. Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making • Selling to locally buying customers in assigned regions (existing or otherwise)/achieving set sales targets taking standards/values into consideration • Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel retail environment and driving growth in both traditional channels and e-commerce • Maintaining and extending regional customer portfolio • Creating and augmenting in-house share among customers • Encouraging resale to end users • Finding new customers in allocated regions and developing these to generate permanent value for SONY • Creating sales planning and forecast/account plan for region • Compiling targets and annual agreements • Maintaining business plans for all accounts that fall within designated remit and reviewing on a monthly basis and prior to any dealer visit • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with current and potential, locally buying clients in the assigned areas • Ensuring that all retailer staff are fully aware and trained on all new products to enable them to communicate all features and benefits effectively and confidently • Ensuring that Promotional/Communication plan is in place for each promo period, and reviewed regularly in line with seasonal and launch planning, to ensure all customer’s retail touch points are maximised • Promoting sales in the assigned areas to meet set revenue targets • Identifying and resolving any issues relating to the clients in assigned areas • Managing sales accruals • Maintaining contact with Marketing, Sales, Service within Sony Benelux • Closely collaborating with sales support/distributor Qualifications & Experience Proven commercial experience, preferably in a similar industry Proven experience in multi-channel retailing and knowledge of e-commerce marketing/sales MS Office experience, advanced Excel skills Higher education, preferably with a commercial background Fluent in Dutch and English (must), French is an asset Team-player Has a proactive and self-starter attitude, dynamic Result and Customer oriented Sounds interesting?
