Reporting to the HR Director for EMEA, you will be based in Copenhagen and look after our population of employees there, currently 50 people and growing. You may also support the employees of other European countries.
This is a generalist role with a broad spectrum. You will be responsible for all of our HR processes for Denmark. You will have a flexible attitude and approach as you will be dealing with HR administrative tasks as well as more complex HR challenges. Although you will be part of a close knit EMEA and global team of HR and People Ops peers, you will be our main HR person in Denmark, so you need to be able to work autonomously.
Responsibilities:
Manage HR processes from end to end with a high attention to detail and in a collaborative manner (including for new hires, terminations, transfers, relocations and so on)
Manage local day to day HR operations, including leave, payroll coordination, benefits administration (including healthcare and pension scheme), contracts
Support the management and tracking of RSUs (stock) for Denmark
Be a driving force in making Workday (our new HRIS) a success
Participate in, and lead, HR projects as needed
Support the roll out and successful execution of our global HR programmes including compensation reviews, our performance feedback cycle, engagement surveys
Guide managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve HR issues
Be a great coach and sounding board for our managers
Act as the first point of contact for all employees on all people and employment related issues
Welcome new joiners and help them get orientated into their new surroundings
Ensure all policy and process is beautifully simple, subject to constant improvement and kept up-to-date in line with current legislation and best practice
Manage all Employee Relations issues/cases
Foster relationships and partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Finance) and the broader People Ops team (including recruitment) to build a better employee experience
Requirements:
You are friendly, approachable and responsive
You are analytical and data savvy, can work well with our HRIS and know and love the power of great data. Youre also comfortable working on a Mac, with Gmail, Google Apps etc
You have strong and proven HR experience (ideally a generalist background)
You are very knowledgeable and proficient in Danish labour law
You are very familiar with local Danish employment practices, including, for example, the Danish holiday system, where you have the ability to explain this simply to non Danish employees working in our CPH office
Familiarity with managing RSUs/stock in Denmark would be an advantage
You have experience with employee mobility and understand Danish visa requirements and processes
Experience within tech, high-growth, and/or creative environments would be an advantage
Experience working remotely from your immediate line manager would be helpful as is an ability to work on your own initiative in a stand alone role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear and concise, with a high attention to detail
You are resourceful, self-motivated and able to independently manage shifting workloads in a high-paced and ever changing environment
You excel at developing relationships, youre a strong influencer and a great coach
You have a strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding internal customer expectations
Were a global company so travel is an essential part of the role. It wont be excessive though. You can expect to travel about once every couple of months, but this is mostly an office-based role in our Copenhagen office.
You are fluent in Danish and English
Qualifications
You will have a qualification in HR (degree or masters preferred)
You have studied or have a qualification in Danish labour law
