A truly world-class Engineering Company, specialising in Aerospace, Defence and Security. They are the largest inward investor in the UK MOD and is currently responsible for several key Cyber Security projects across Europe.
In Mons, Belgium they are responsible for the entire Network Infrastructure of a prominent intergovernmental customer and they currently have an exciting opening for a Lead Security Analyst to assist with providing protective monitoring services capability for their corporate networks.
They work on preventing advanced cyber-attacks against one of the largest cyber implementations outside of North America.
What will you be doing?
You will be a key person in the SIEM Team in Mons, providing protective monitoring services capability for the customers' corporate networks.
The Lead Security Analyst will be embedded within the customer working environment in Belgium, using their in-depth knowledge gained from both experience and qualifications in the Cyber Defence arena, to work on preventing advanced cyber-attacks.
This includes monitoring and analysis of event logs within a multiple SIEM environment using ArcSight, LogRhythm and RSA Envision and applying further analysis with available tools sets when escalated.
You will utilise log analysis, IDS/IPS, FPC and forensics tools across a distributed sensor network. You will also be required to provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to other staff members within the SIEM Team.
The organisation offers leading edge protective monitoring services and incident handling services to its customers, therefore you will be at the forefront of technology.
What do they need from you?
You will have significant experience in the analysis and handling of network security related events and security event management. It is essential to have one of more professional SANS (e.g., GSEC, GCIA) or CISSP certifications
Your SIEM experience will include extensive experience in network and systems monitoring, using tools such as ArcSight, LogRhythm and RSA Envision.
As a Lead Security Analyst, you will already have In-depth experience of some common network or security devices, such as routers, switches, hubs, firewalls.
Due to the nature of the customer, you will be fully prepared to become SC and DV cleared.
