Your Responsibilities
Assist the Data Classification program by participating in the delivery of the Data Classification and Document Lifecycle Framework (creation, protection, use, storage/control and disposition) strategy for Philips Lighting.
Perform operational tasks that would contribute to compliance of Information Classification accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Provides support for validation of adherence to the InfoSec data classification standard / guidelines.
Contribute in maintaining comprehensive updates and reporting to the Head of InfoSec Information Protection.
Contributes practically in key projects, ensuring their compatibility is aligned with the strategic direction.
Triage support for events and incident management.
Support for the incident escalation process.
Your Team
As a member of the Information Classification team, you will report directly into the Head of InfoSec Information Protection of Philips Lighting. The team is focused on protecting data through a lifecycle of creating, protecting, using, storing and disposing of digital assets. The team governs a document labeling framework and corresponding applications. You will be a critical member of the team that strives to ensure confidential data is identified and appropriately labeled. You will work closely with the entire Information Protection team to align objectives with processes.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Business, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years in IT with Information Security responsibilities, with 1-3 years managing an information classification framework or the demonstrated aptitude for Information Security practices.
3+ years working in an IT team environment.
1+ year working in a multinational environment.
Associate of ISC2, SSCP, Security+ or similar Information Security training or certification.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, with a focus on Information Security.
Working understanding of operational tasks of Information Classification.
Knowledge of risk assessment processes.
Ability to be concise and clear in communication.
Ability to work well in a team to accomplish departmental objectives.
