Duties & Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: •Responsibilities include providing support to the construction managers including receiving, logging, tracking, expediting, and distribution of shop drawings, RFI’s, and other Construction Project Controls Documentation •Collect data, assemble, and distribute various weekly reports as required •MEP Coordination • 3D Modeling using the Building Information Modeling process (experience w/ Revit MEP or Fabrication CADmep a plus) • Multi-Trade Coordination (Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Process) using 3D modeling Software (Autodesk Navisworks Manage) •Coordination with the Design Professionals •Preparation of Building Sequence 3D models coordinated with the Project Schedule •Preparation of Presentation Quality 3D models for Progress reporting •Providing support in their review and tabulation •Managing the tracking, reproduction, and distribution of all drawings, specifications and sketches and revisions •Attending and participating in construction and other meetings as required. Taking and issuing meeting minutes as required •Assisting the field team in verifying component deliveries, work in place, and other activities •Direct Contractors/Subcontractors in the use and implementation of BIM/3D •Support PM’s and Supt’s in file management and software capabilities. •Collaborate with design and build team to eliminate construction errors due to design flaws. •Achieve reduced time/costs related to potential errors of clash detention •Some travel required. •Other duties as assigned Requirements An ideal candidate would possess or meet most of the following attributes: Effective communication skills with the ability to represent TFS in a positive manner with client Ability to lead and manage a small team (2 to 5 staff) AGC CM-BIM certification 2 to 5 years of experience in management in AEC, mechanical, electrical, or process field Experience in working for a subcontractor a plus Software: Navisworks Manage, Revit, AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep, Bluebeam, BOX, BIManywhere Ability to train or experience with training/mentorship preferred Able to accommodate short-term travel assignments (15 to 25%) Minimum education requirement is degreed or certificate completion from a technical school Contact Details M+W Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
