Job Title: Operations Manager, Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Global Service Line
Job purpose:
Take responsibility for the Project Subsea Operational functions within the IMR Global Service Line (GSL). Oversee and directly manage the Operations team to ensure effective engagement with all regions and support delivery of Projects and Tenders.
Support the Business Manager and his team to ensure tender responses are met, ensuring focus on tender technical input, preparation, clarification, through to award.
Support the regions to develop their skills in IMR delivery, ensuring compliance with overarching Project Management and Operational Procedures
Provide input to and assist the GSL Management, with the strategic direction of the IMR group.
Reporting lines and interactions:
Hierarchically reports to: IMR General Manager – Global Service Line
Direct Interfaces to: Regional General Managers, Project Win-It Functions
Directly supervises: Project Management, Inspection and Engineering personnel in IMR group

Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
A substantial level of experience in the Offshore Subsea Industry, with a good level of experience of Tendering and Management
Held a previous Subsea Project or Operational Management Role
High degree of competence in following areas;
Subsea technical knowledge in Diving and ROV based IMR services
Operational management and controls
Estimating (Cost reporting, Tender spreadsheet and Schedule)
Business Awareness
Professional delivery
Results focussed
Proactive / committed approach
Ability to manage change
Experience and competent at personnel performance management
Main accountabilities:
Responsible for the development of the IMR GSL operational strategy
Co-operative collaboration with the Regional Services and Projects
Strategic input to the tendered solution to achieve business goals/objectives
Liaison with Services and Projects Operations Managers on tendering resources and solutions
Provide guidance and support to the local and global regions for IMR project execution
Provide a level of governance for the operational delivery of the IMR projects
To constantly review and challenge Project Execution technically and operationally
Maximise the effectiveness of the Operations Organisation within the wider group
Be the functional responsible person for global IMR operational delivery
Support the Tender preparation/delivery in collaboration with the technical and operational teams
Manage department resources and ensure sufficient resources are in place to meet anticipated workload
Support the development of the Project Managers and their respective teams
