QC COORDINATOR - SUPPLIER APPROVAL
We are looking for experienced QC Coordinator to
manage Supplier Approval authorization for Trading (ROI & NI). Maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL), and maintain Supplier files including approval ratings.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage Supplier Approval Process for existing and potential suppliers for Musgrave Wholesale Partners. Audit Suppliers to agreed risk categorization.
- Ensure all suppliers comply with relevant food and non-food regulatory
- Support the Marketplace sites and CDC, ensuring that MHRA & HPRA medicinal product GDP standards and processes are understood and implemented
- Implement Food Safety & Quality initiatives within MWP depots assigned to the role
Manage Supplier Approval authorization for Trading (ROI & NI) Maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL), and maintain Supplier files including approval ratings.
- Audit & review supplier operational practices to ensure they meet MWP`s requirements and that they are consistently adhering to them.
- Work with Own Brand and trading teams to ensure own brand suppliers comply with food safety regulatory requirements, and are approved to agreed timeline to meet target of NPD OB development plans
- Manage the Commence Supplier Database, and ensure all suppliers data is reviewed and uploaded onto the system. Ensure QA team are trained in use of system
Ensure all suppliers are compliant with FIR (Food), FCM & CPL (Non-Food), HPRA / MHRA (Medicinal products) regulatory requirements
- Maintain Bona Fides Register for Medicinal Product Suppliers and Medicinal Products to the business and ensure it is available to all sites
- Co-ordinate audit charge outs & invoicing with Accounts Dept., ensuring all suppliers audit payments are completed within a defined timeline with the supplier
Drive Medicinal Wholesale Medicinal standards of compliance with all MWP sites -
- Support all Marketplace sites, ensuring that medicinal product GDP standards and processes are understood and implemented
- Support the Depot Compliance Managers / RP`s to ensure Operations comply with the required Medicinal GDP, food safety and quality standards. Ensure Registration of RP`s for each depot with the HPRA / MHRA to be reviewed and kept up to date
- Review and update MHRA / HPRA GDP documentation as necessary to support the business development
- Manage RP & Deputy RP Training programmes for the business ensuring content of Medicinal GDP Training course contents reflects regulatory and business needs
- Support the Food Safety Compliance Programme with the Compliance Managers & Medicinal RP`s in all depots; and support and mentor them in Medicinal GDP compliance requirements
- As required support the preparation warehouses for external audits. E.g. HPRA / MHRA, NSAI FCM compliance audits, EIQA Q Mark - Food Hygiene, EHO. Ensuring standards required can be clearly demonstrated to external auditors
Support new processes & projects in the business that impact on sales of medical products (e.g. new site, or new logistics solutions)
Operations QA Technical Support providing Sales & Trading Managers with timely review of compliance requests & provision of relevant technical information
- Support national / key accounts team & customers by providing supplier / manufacturer approval information required to trade
- Supporting customer tender processes by providing technical information or responses to Supplier HACCP & certification queries.
- Technical support in the investigation and resolution of Supplier Non-conformances
- Support site operations in addressing supplier non-conformances
Project Work
- Work on required projects with the Quality Team to improve and drive the Quality initiatives within the business. Representing the Quality Department on teams across the business, to influence on Quality issues.
Skills:
- PC literate in Microsoft applications including Power Point, Words and Excel. Ideally with previous Experience of Spec & Complaint Management Software packages.
- Excellent Communication skills, conveying technical information and concepts in verbal, written and presentation format.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and differentiate between urgent and important
- Problem Solver - identify risks and initiate solutions
