Thales ATMDefence, Ground Transportations and Air Traffic Management. In 2012, Banedanmark, the Danish rail infrastructure, awarded a consortium composed of Thales and Strukton Rail with a contract to upgrade the signalling system in Jutland, the Western part of Denmark. This latter consists of approx. 1.200 km of the Danish railway network (60 ) to the new European ETCS level 2 system. Since then, Thales in Denmark has been working on the design and building of the system in close cooperation with Strukton Rail and Thales peers in Germany. Internally, the project is called the ‘F-Bane project’ and is set to transfer to the maintenance phase by 2021. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Controller to join the F-Bane project in Thales Denmark A/S. The role will be reporting to the Finance Director of Thales Denmark A/S. Key Responsibilities and tasks: Proper financial follow-up of the Project according to Thales and International Accounting rules. Ensure proper accounting of all project relevant matters (invoicing, cost accounting, cost variances, etc) Monitoring of the monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) process including coordination with all relevant functions and variance analysis Project budgeting and forecasting including Order Intake, Change requests, Revenues, Costs, WIP, Billing, Cash to ensure accurate financial reporting on a monthly basis Support the project team with cost data for customers, subcontractors, auditors and other external requests including project claims preparation Providing financial information in an accurate and timely basis: eg prepare and update financial part of the dashboard for Monthly and Quarterly Project Reviews, both at country level and for the consolidated view. Update and monitor program Work Breakdown Structure. Provide information to CFO for BOR/ MYB preparation Actively support in Risk Management Support and coordination for all finance topics related to the project Partner of the Project Management team, and notably in support of the Project manager and the Contract Manager Coordination with other Thales units, BL and GBU, and with Thales Group Point of contact for the Finance department of the customer and for the Partner in the Consortium To ensure and improve procedures, standards and tools for the project follow up Skills and experience: Good education in accounting and controlling Experience in controlling of complex projects Ability to adapt to changes, and being reliable Ability to work as a team in an international environment Fluency in English, if possible knowledge of Danish. IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP is a plus, Business Intelligence)
