Responsibilities:
Deliver Test and Quality Assurance Management services for clients within agreed schedules and budgets
Ensure that sound practice is employed in the delivery of Test Management and Quality Assurance services in all client engagements
Provide consultancy services to existing clients to increase the quality and value of delivered services, and to identify and leverage opportunities for the delivery of additional services
Support Account Managers in preparing proposals for new clients, defining high quality and high value services to meet client needs, and representing these to the client
Utilise relevant business and technical experience to increase the quality and value of services provided to clients
Develop the Test Management service capabilities and capacity and lead initiatives to develop new services and skills
Remain informed on current industry trends and best practice so as to continually improve SQS services and provide clients with thought leadership in quality and value in technology
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level qualification, in an IT related subject preferred
ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester as a minimum qualification
ITIL qualification preferred
Project Management and other IT Quality and Development related qualifications preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of either Test Management of large, complex projects or Quality Assurance across a range of organisations and technologies
Extensive experience of managing the quality and timeliness of outputs from client and 3rd party teams of all disciplines across the project lifecycle
Extensive experience of building and managing global teams including training, mentoring and performance management
Experience of working collaboratively with global, multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on delivery.
Proven experience of defining and managing environment and data requirements to support the successful delivery of test services
Development and positioning of solution and service propositions. A track record of successful communication of the benefits and rationale of services to clients and to account teams
Experienced in consulting with senior client managers and advising on solutions that meet their needs and add value to their business
Demonstrable experience of the software development life cycle and supporting infrastructures (i.e. Development, QA, Testing, Production, etc.) having performed a variety of roles within that lifecycle
Experience in a variety of delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and V-Model
Use of Test and Defect Management tools to manage test assets and to provide comprehensive status and management reports
Experience in Risk and Issue Management and in Release and Configuration Management

This is a consultancy based role so you will be expected to work in a number of locations across the UK for extended periods. Therefore you must be willing and able to work away from your home location for long periods of time.
The interview process will consist of 2-3 stages, including technical assessment as and when required
Some roles may require background checks and security clearance
