Vestas CEO > Sales > Global KAM and Commercial Development
You will be part of the Global Key Account Management and Commercial Development department in the CSO area. The function reports to the Global CSO.
The role’s main responsibilities will be to lead the global Commercial Development Program and lead the deployment of several elements within the program, especially within the Value Communication area. In addition, you are expected to be a main contributor to several commercial forums and partner directly with customer facing colleagues globally. You will report to the Vice President - Global KAM and Commercial Development.
Responsibilities
Your three main areas will be:
Commercial Development Program Lead:
Develop and Lead the Commercial Development Initiative with stakeholders in the SBUs and Group (all customer facing colleagues including Technical, Power Plant and Service Sales)
Develop and manage a Commercial Development Scorecard for the organization (including assessments)
Track, review, and share successful Commercial Development stories in the field
Facilitate, Train and Coach to specific commercial behaviours
Lead the Global Commercial Development Community
Work with Human Resources to support integration of the Value Wheel commercial behaviours into hiring process
Value Communication/Insight selling Change Agent:
Partner with sales and marketing to develop and implement Value Communication/Insight Selling - reinforcing activities, communications, and ongoing development activities
Enable collaboration between power plant sales, marketing, market intelligence, technical sales and service sales to support the development of insight stories (Insight Messages – Value Proposition)
Track, review, update and share successful Insight Selling stories and insight-led conversations in the field
Collaborate with Marketing in maintaining the insight library
Work with product and marketing teams to ensure marketing messages, collateral and communications support an insight-led approach
Partner with sales leaders and managers to provide effective Coaching
Serve as an internal subject matter expert on Value Communication/Insight Selling
Develop and manage a Insight Selling Scorecard for the organization
Global KAM and Commercial Development team member:
Sparring partner in the KAM program
Communication subject matter expert
Main contributor to several commercial forums
Qualifications
6-10 years' commercial experience in global B2B companies, ideally in complex or energy related industries (e.g. OEMs, Utilities, Infrastructure, and Development etc.)
Master level/MBA educational background
Strong business and commercial acumen
Superior communicative, quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

Must have strong communication skills in English, both orally and written.

Additional information
You should expect some travel activities in the role, approximately 40-80 days per year globally. Your primary work location will be in Copenhagen as part on the global CSO team. For the right candidate, location in Madrid or Hamburg could be considered. Periods of very high workload can be expected, especially up to the Commercial Leadership Forum.
