Product Management has a global reach into our sales regions, including Technical Sales Management with responsibility for technical sales and bid management. In everything we do we have a commercial and customer oriented approach. We are measured on the impact the product platforms have on Vestas profitability, and the ability to continuously lower the cost of energy. We are responsible for bringing products to the market globally across our Sales Business Units in order to support local markets' success and by this taking into account the dynamics of the global market for wind power plant solutions. In order to lead the product through the value chain and all the way to the market Product Management corporates with many stakeholders across Vestas Responsibilities As Product Manager in the Go to Market team you will be responsible for one of our product releases, which also means that you must have strong capabilities in handling the complexity in our go-to market process and product portfolio. You will also be responsible for developing some of our work processes within the Go to Market area. In addition, your responsibilities will cover: Product life cycle management of the platform and related product variants Follow-up on the product platform revenue and earnings and suggest actions based on the commercial product life cycle performance Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans for successful launch of product variants including pro-active risk management Be an integrated member of the team rolling out the product market strategies and product roadmaps Product training of the Sales Regions and Technical Sales Management with focus on product feature, benefits, key selling points and how to capture the value of the new products variant Participate in customer dialogues and the interpretation of market and customer trends Be a “gate keeper” in the product development projects to ensure that the product requirements are fulfilled Qualifications You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. either in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience – or in Business/Economics combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience Preferably you have a few years' experience within the wind industry or with Business to-Business product management Understanding of a similar industry's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain is an advantage You possess excellent communication skills, and are fluent in English, written and spoken Competencies You are a team player and an excellent networker who appreciate working with many stakeholders in a global organization. You have a commercial mind-set You are pro-active, self-driven and you always have the results in focus You have project management skills You are motivated by taking your knowledge about wind power plants and turning it into profitable offerings that deliver attractive value for our customers and profitable growth for Vestas.
