The Product Assurance & Certification Multi-skilled BE team is looking to hire a technically strong and motivated Lead Test Engineer to help in the qualification of SWIFT products (Interface and Back-Office).
The successful candidate will be sensitive to quality, eager to learn, understanding business needs, familiar with testing methodology, a strong team player and committed to deliver.
Besides his/her testing tasks, the candidate will be asked to maintain/troubleshoot the testing infrastructure related to these qualifications. This infrastructure may contain Windows, UNIX, Linux, Oracle and/or SAP systems. The candidate will also be required to participate to the automation of tested applications, using different technologies, such as Robotframework, Selenium, Ansible, Perl, …
The selected candidate will also be responsible of managing from an end-to-end point of view strategic and cross teams projects. He/She will need to be able getting a high level understanding of the project, but also digging into technical details. He/She will be required to lead a small team of testers to reach project milestones within quality and budget constraints.
He/She will join a worldwide team of highly skilled IT professionals, and have the opportunity to further expand his/her technical and testing expertise while at the same time building a solid financial business understanding.
Responsibilities:
Write and execute test cases and analyze and log test results for highly complex products.
Develop and maintain test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests, for new
software release of applications in an accurate and timely manner.
Propose and create procedures that help to find errors existing in the product and execute
test cases/regression tests to ensure minimal discrepancy between specified and
implemented functions.
Review requirements/design documents to ensure testability and become acquainted with
products.
Maintain/support/troubleshoot the testing infrastructure.
Design and participate in the implementation of test automation.
Design test plans for complex products.
Coordinate testing of software components for large projects.
Participate in and contribute to testing process improvement efforts.
Coach and support less experienced testers.
Qualifications:
Education
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience
8 to 10 years of experience within a development or testing environment; 5 year of experience in testing; 2-3 year experience leading small team.
Professional knowledge and experience
Fluent in English.
Able to work independently but also in team.
Proven experience in leading small teams.
Good coaching skills are mandatory.
Good troubleshooting skills are mandatory.
Practical experience with Windows and Unix (day-to-day operations) is mandatory.
Practical experience with Automation tools (RobotFramework / Ansible) is mandatory, any additional automation tool is an asset.
Knowledge of SWIFT Interface products (Alliance Access, Gateway, Web Platform) is an asset.
Knowledge of Web-based applications testing is an asset.
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP is an asset.
Network understanding is an asset.
Knowledge of Agile methodology is an asset.
Experience with QualityCenter/ALM is an asset.
Testing methodology certification (ISEB, ISTQB, CAT,…) is an asset.
