• Prepare and create responses to customer’s requests for proposals, estimates and information as directed by the Sales and Operations teams
• Through experience and use of the necessary company resources: ensure a high rate of success on bids/orders, deliver responses and proposals of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers
• Leverage systems and tools to accurately maintain estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation
• Complete cost estimates and proposals within required timelines
• Accurate portrayal of costs in the form of cost estimates
• Advice to the Sales/Service Front Office Team on technical and commercial alternatives that ensure lowest compliant bid while providing highest value to the customer.
• Proposals and Estimates captured through the use of Siebel
• Full proposal and costing of: All Honeywell hardware and software, “One Honeywell” content other Third party content, etc. for All LSS efforts, all projects • Expedite and coordinate responses from Service, Contract, Procurement to complete tenders as required
• Contribute to institutional learning and “favourites” with the full use of estimating tools to maximise sharing and to ensure consistency with the rest of the organisation
• Coordinate internal process such as R&O, eGAP for a given bid or proposal
• Ensure all Honeywell proposals and sales project files are in accordance with Honeywell standards and processes
• Thoroughly understands and follows company policies to minimize Honeywell’s exposure to risk and ethics violations
• Maintain high level of knowledge of the marketplace, technology and application trends.
• Clear concise communications with Sales, Service & Front Office Estimators
