Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting activities related to Accounts Payable according with the company policies and SOX requirements;
- Review and follow up the main key performance indicators;
- Develop and maintain relationships with various Departments and\or suppliers;
- Identify and implement process improvements idea;
-Ensures that processes are documented, improved constantly and followed, according to Standard Operating Procedures;
- Support corporate P2P initiatives, being part of different projects related to AP;
- Establish performance objectives, evaluate the performance and conduct recurrent discussions including the yearly performance review;
- Identify, implement and execute training plan for employees & direct reports in close coordination with HR
- Lead and manage the recruitment, development, reward, recognition and performance of the AP team;
- Ensure back-up for AP Manager if required;
Qualifications:
3 years of directly related accounting/finance experience;
Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business processes;
Proficiency in English;
Proven inclination towards improving processes, changing unsatisfying and stagnating situations;
Experience and exposure to setting and evaluating goals;
Strong plusses:
University Degree in Economic Studies;
Mastering a second European language.
Knowledge and skills:
PowerPoint, SAP -> Medium level;
Advanced Excel skills;
Committed and highly motivated to achieving goals and tight deadlines;
Results oriented, comfortable working in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines;
Ability to set priorities and plan workload to meet deadlines and achieve the objectives of the team;
Project management and analytical skills;
Strong communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization;
Apply learning and experience to identify and initiate ‘best practice’ strategies and process improvements for the team.
