Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Nurse Specialist within the award winning Rheumatology department at St Helens Hospital.
We are looking for an innovative, experienced nurse who would fit into this highly motivated team. You will be expected to practice at an advanced level and be an autonomous practitioner caring for patients with Rheumatic conditions and their families. The specialist nursing service works within a multi-disciplinary team providing holistic care for patients including nurse-led early arthritis clinics, disease and drug education sessions, advice via a telephone helpline service, provision of a safe and effective blood monitoring service, and assisting in delivery of consultant led outpatient clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a genuinely multi disciplinary team environment. This is potentially available as a developmental post under Agenda for Change Annex-21, which would be suitable for an experienced clinical nurse without experience in the relevant speciality. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in clinical nursing and a minimum of 2 years at band 6 or above, and be able to demonstrate through your KSF that you practice at this level.
