ReaktorHelsinki / Technology Reaktor is a global creative technology studio. Our 400 team members in Helsinki, New York and Tokyo excel in everything from hardcore software development to sophisticated brand and concept design. We’re a growing company that is owned by its employees, and our goal is to bring smart people together and build autonomous expert teams that help our customers build truly remarkable services. We’re looking to hire software developers to work in our project teams in Helsinki. Reaktor is technology-agnostic. We work with programming languages ranging from purely functional to low-level imperative, and we’re not looking for any particular programming language experience. Instead we hope that you will present us with the depth of your knowledge in one field, or your wide variety of skills and are open to discussion to find the most suitable role for you in our projects. See what Adam has to say about his experience of interviewing with Reaktor. As a software developer, you will be working in a small team (on average between 4-8 persons) of experts, often in a war room -like setting at customer premises. It is not only an exciting environment to build world-class digital services in, but also a perfect sparring ground to hone your technical, business, teamwork and project management skills. We avoid unnecessary hierarchy, and instead focus on fully autonomic teams. that have the means to accomplish their goals and make their own decisions. Reaktor projects are widely varied in scope and setting. We build solutions based on web, native and embedded technologies for customers working in retail, security, aerospace, education, public sector and many other industries. Our customers include HBO, Michael Kors, Nasdaq, Samsung, Supercell, and Finnair. We’re not only hiring in our Helsinki office, but also in New York and Tokyo as well. We work together on projects spanning across offices, and depending on your willingness, we have plenty of opportunities to work on projects that are located abroad. So please, introduce yourself using the form below. Tell us your story and what you want to accomplish. Details of any open source projects and your GitHub repository are highly regarded.
